Learners are admitted into Grade 9 based on their CBC assessment outcomes and placement by the Ministry of Education. Selection considers learner competency profiles and school capacity.

Transfer cases at Junior Secondary level are considered subject to availability of vacancies and approval by the Ministry of Education. CBC learner records must be transferred through the approved system.
